Continuing his exposition of Paul's sermon in Acts 13, the preacher argues that half-hearted, overly diplomatic evangelism actually works against the gospel, and that being a genuinely useful ambassador of Christ requires being personally enthralled with Christ himself; recognizing his supreme authority, omniscience, and patience as the ultimate deliverer to whom every Old Testament figure only pointed; so that imploring people toward reconciliation flows from real respect and love rather than casual information-sharing.
