To the Ends of the Earth

The ascension of Jesus; not merely his death and resurrection; is the decisive truth for the church's identity and mission today: because the risen Christ now reigns enthroned at God's right hand over all history and nations, his kingdom cannot be stopped, and his Spirit-empowered people are called to witness to his reign to the ends of the earth until he returns.
