Sin Not

Sin is fundamentally idolatry; worship misdirected away from God; and it leads inevitably to misery, but God cannot bear his people's misery, so in love he bears their sin himself; genuine repentance, unlike shallow self-justification, is marked by desperate surrender to God alone.
