Second Sunday after Pentecost - June 22, 2025

Isaiah's exuberant promises of desert-blooming restoration sound almost embarrassingly hopeful to a world worn down by exile and oppression, but that hope only makes sense because God has already entered human suffering through the cross and resurrection, and calls the redeemed to tend whatever small patch of hope they've been given.
