Becoming Citizens of the Kindom of God

Jesus himself needed to grow beyond his own cultural in-group identity through the persistent, courageous witness of the Syrophoenician woman, and the church today is likewise called to expand its identity beyond homogeneity into radical hospitality that protects and includes trans, indigenous, and marginalized bodies as citizens of God's kingdom.
