A sermon on 2 Samuel 2
David's anointing as king over Judah at Hebron, even amid a rival throne and years of hardship, shows that what God promises he always fulfills; believers should therefore seek the Lord's will in prayer, look to his promises, and trust he is at work even when the kingdom's progress looks small.
